How I can help

Whether you are a menswear supplier, or an independent menswear fashion retailer, we are clearly facing some of the toughest times in our trade right now - and it can be lonely existence. As you work your way through these challenges you may want some help or an experienced outsiders perspective and alternative view. I have over 40yrs experience and may be able to help and I have the energy and enthusiasm to do so. This experience has allowed me to build up a superb network, a contact and knowledge database that I am keen to share. I can help in sales, marketing, PR, strategic planning, team building, product development, brand building, websites, trade shows etc. My contacts cover all aspects of the menswear trade, and I am quite sure that if I can't help, or advise I can put you in touch with someone that can.

My experience

I am passionate about independent retailers, primarily Menswear but I am also an avid supporter of the 'British High Street', in my opinion the backbone of the UK. This huge variety of innovative and individual shops and stores in our towns and cities and the supply chains that make them work are vital for the local communities - and the recent months have proven this. These specialist stores regularly have more individual lines not available in the multiples and even more so than ever they need as much support as possible. Very often the stock is of higher quality and of course they have great product/brand knowledge but probably most importantly, they offer the best of service.

The Future

The High Street is constantly changing and with the fast pace of modern technology, the current economic climate and pandemic crisis, and the perception of the importance of these retailers with younger generations, it is becoming more difficult for both the retailers and the suppliers and I am keen to share my experience and huge contact base. I have therefore started my own business as a Menswear Consultant (or advisor).
